Does he actually have his hands in his pockets?

Isn't this the first "no-no" of stage presence?

Didn't he listen to Pig?

That is really, really disturbing.

How can I possible continue to defend this band to friends knowing this is lurking out there somewhere, only to be brought up when I attempt to convince certain party goers of the value of the DEAD? I suppose I will have to rely on maintaining that "nothing like THAT ever happened in 68!"

Then you can show them this to prove the difference:

Outstanding my friend! Outstanding...you won't believe it, but in that same get up and hair style, etc., I have a pic of him and Mountain Girl up on my door at work (only one person has recognized the pair in the 14 yrs it has been up), which I cut out of a mag in Aug 95 after he died...You probably have seen the pic, but he looks very much like he does in this one. MG is esp attractive in it too...most guys notice that...

Thanks man!

My pleasure, WT...and I DO know the pic of which you speak. MG does look particularly kickass in that one. Do you get the feeling Jer's wardrobe was never very, um, extensive? ;)

I thought the cig dangling in that pic was cooler than Sinatra... in that funkee Jer way, of course...

Yeah, makes me want to smoke more than I should...and yeah, loved the early era pants with lengthwise, wide stripes, and lets face it, "skinny Jerry" just looks more like the SF scene, ya know?

Yup! And don't forget the pointy boots. ;) Of course, the earlier look was cool too...in it's way...

Oh man--forgot about those..."look at that darlin' little curl" (as my gramma would have said...I had one at one point...curl that is...gram too).
